Would you like to develop skills in helping to calm your mind, step out of unhealthy thinking habits and live your life more fully and create calm well-being?

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) has substantial evidence that promotes all of these.

The Course is highly experimental, supportive and structured, the 8 week MBSR Programme will provide you with: 

  • Guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practices.
  • Gentle stretching and mindful movement.
  • Group discussion and mindful communication exercises to enhance awareness in everyday life.
  • Individually tailored instruction.
  • Daily home assignments.
  • Guided meditations and handouts.

The course is challenging, and life-affirming.  To get the most out of coming to the class requires work and commitment on your part.  You will be asked to practise the meditations for up to one hour every day at home in between classes.  Finding this time can initially make the course seem stressful, but it is in the home practice that people gain the lasting benefits of the course.

Access Consciousness and Bars

Tracy is now offering the empowering treatment of Access Consciousness at the salon on a Monday and Tuesday.

Access Consciousness body processes Access Bars is a hands on treatment for dynamic change.  The process involved the Practitioner touching 32 points on the head (termed 'bars') which start to clear the electromagnetic components for all the thoughts, feelings and emotions that create limitations for us physically and psychologically.  This process goes beyond the 'cognitive' mind to clear the energetic limitation under pinning any particular issue or area where we are stuck.

Yoga Classes - Beginners

We are extremely excited to announce that Jackie from 'Yoga & Massage New Forest' is going to be running a 4 week gentle introduction to Yoga at the Well-Being Centre at Prescents.

The class is suitable for beginners or those wanting to take things at a more gentle pace, and in this class you will be working on strength, flexibility as well as relieving unwanted tension and stress, along with a range of breathing techniques.

4 week block session, initially available, to take you up to the Easter Break
Starting: Thursday 7th March 2019
Time: 10am
Duration: 1 hour
£36 for the course

*Classes will be on a first come, first served basis as spaces are limited to a maximum of 7/8 people.*
 Alternative dates and more intermediate classes will be available if the interest arises.
